Christine M. Cunneen, CEO and Co-Founder of Hire Image LLC
As CEO of Hire Image, Christine Cunneen sets the company’s vision and strategy while overseeing the operations, finance and business development functions nationwide.
Ms. Cunneen is immediate past chair of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) and served on the Accreditation Council, Government Relations Committee, Finance Committee, and Conference Committee for NAPBS. She holds an Advanced FCRA Certification through NAPBS. She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) at both the national and local level serving on the advocacy team and legislative committees. As a current Board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State, Cunneen serves on the Finance Committee and was recently selected as Vice President of the Board. She serves on her local planning board and is a past Board member of her local Chamber of Commerce. She is proud to have served on the Advisory Committee for the Sue Weaver C.A.U.S.E. (promoting Consumer Awareness of Unsafe Service Employment).
Ms. Cunneen is a frequent guest speaker at business, human resource and background screening association events throughout the U.S., educating employers and other professionals about background screening topics, and is often quoted for her expertise in the news media. On a regular basis, she travels to Washington, DC to meet with legislators and is active in writing campaigns and advocacy pertaining to laws and regulations that impact the background screening profession.
She is a 1990 graduate of Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY) where she received her bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting. Ms. Cunneen earned the Certified Public Accountant designation and maintains membership in the Rhode Island Society of CPAs and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Prior to joining Hire Image, she enjoyed a 13-year financial career in New York as a certified public accountant specializing in taxation for such companies as Barnes & Noble and ING.
Ms. Cunneen is a 2006 recipient of the “Make Mine a Million $ Business™” (M3) award from Count Me In™ and AMEX Open and when breaking the $1M barrier, credited the program for helping her achieve that goal and contributing to her growth and success. Ms. Cunneen continues to serve as a mentor to other women-owned business leaders across the country.
Thomas Tomlinson, Co-Founder of Hire Image LLC
Mr. Tomlinson brings an extensive law enforcement background in corrections and private investigation in the state of Florida. Prior to establishing Hire Image, he served as a private investigator for High-Tech Investigations, Inc. of Deerfield Beach, where he researched backgrounds of individuals and businesses. Previously, he was corrections officer for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Ft. Lauderdale.
He is responsible for directing the operations of the company including managing researchers and ensuring Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance. He oversees account managers supervising all work processes including accuracy, quality and timeliness of reports and also addressing staffing needs with regard to spikes in volume or rush orders. Tom also supervises automated services, performs on-line investigations, manages the courthouse researchers, and is responsible for customer satisfaction and quality control.
Mr. Tomlinson is a member of the National Association of Professional Background Screeners.
