hands on prison bars

A man with a previous criminal history, including a “violent arrest” that dealt with strangulation, endangering the welfare of a child, terrorist threats, assault, theft, and DUI, among others, was in Polk County, Florida with his employer, a Pennsylvania electric company. The company was doing work for Publix Supermarkets’ corporate office and had rented a home for the employees there. The man had an argument with his supervisor that became violent last Friday evening. Then, on Saturday morning, he returned to the home with a baseball bat and knife. Seven other people were in the house, including a 7-year-old child. He beat and stabbed three of them to death and severely beat another. The young child and her parents were able to escape. The man was arrested later that day and is being charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of aggravated battery.
