The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) recently expanded a previous publication that focused on the ADA and Rehabilitation Act. In its updated technical assistance publication “What You Should Know About COVID-19 and the ADA, the Rehabilitation Act, and Other EEO Laws”, the EEOC added questions and answers to respond to common inquiries of employers, including inquiries about accommodations, hiring, onboarding, and medical exams. The EEOC also made recommendations for employers to follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and remember that the guidelines will likely change as the pandemic continues.
