NYU Professor Taught for Years Despite Child Pornography Conviction

NYU employed a sex offender for years. After being arrested in 2015 for child pornography in Westchester County, New York, the adjunct professor was designated a Level 2 (medium risk of committing another offense) sex offender, according to the New York Sex Offender Registry.

“He has been suspended and will not be continuing his teaching duties while the matter is reviewed,” an NYU spokesperson noted.
