He is a certified employment law specialist and a certified information privacy professional. He also serves on the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.

Ms.Cunneen holds an Advanced FCRA Certification through the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS), and is a member of the Society of Human resource Management (SHRM) advocacy team and legislative committees. She is immediate past chair of NAPBS and has extensive experience conferring with legislators in Washington, D.C. regarding background screening issues.
