Ibrahim E. Bouaichi shot and killed Karla Elizabeth Dominguez Gonzalez, who had accused him of rape and testified against him in December. Due to the pandemic, a judge had released him from jail in April, as he was awaiting his rape trial without bond. Before he could be arrested for her murder, Bouaichi died from a self-inflicted gunshot.
